KOM941

In our house sat a radio
Beside our fathers bed
And as we grew we listened to
the words it often said

Brave men were sent into the night
On another run
And at the last was always said;
“10-4 KOM941”

As kids we didn’t understand
The duties to be done
We only knew on every call was
“10-4 KOM941”

Eventually it became a part of us
We thought it was pretty fun
To end all of our sentences with
“10-4 KOM941”

It soon became our secret code
A tradition had begun
If you need ‘em to know that it’s okay answer
“10-4 KOM941”

So as our Dad is laid to rest
We share our code with everyone
And ask that you would join us in one last
“10-4 KOM941”
