This is a little video that I tossed together with the help of Frank Cone and Steve Clem. I had entered a photo contest put on by the Chelan/Douglas Land Trust and noticed with only 3 days to go that no one had entered the video part of the contest. I thought that was a shame so I decided to see if I could do something to help out. Never before having attempted to do anything like this a downloaded MS Moviemaker on a Monday night and started figuring things out. Frank Cone gave me unfettered access to his library of excellent photos and most of what you see are his pictures with a smattering of mine mixed in. Steve Clem helped me record my voice and also added the music. After I edited the video we matched up the spoken words with the imagery and then Steve just recorded the music live as the video played. He's an amazing talent. We slapped the whole thing together and got it on line before the deadline Wednesday afternoon. From idea to video in less than three days! I'd like to change it. I didn't get the pacing right and it needs some other tweeks here and there but it will always be my first and firsts are never quite perfect, but always fondly remembered.
